The Village Renaissance Faire has traditionally been a center for celebrating arts and music in the community. This year, the Faire will be highlighting a contest that will allow members of the community to showcase case their musical talent. The competition will take place on Saturday, September 20th, 2008, during the Village Renaissance Faire on the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds in Wrightstown, PA. Contest admission is free with the purchase of a $5.00 Renaissance Faire entry ticket.

Musicians of all ages are welcome to compete. Cash prizes will be awarded for the winners of each category (Under 12; 12-17; 18 & over). The entrant may only play a non-amplified instrument (along with a backup instrumentalist or vocalist) in one of the following genres:
