Support the public library & have fun too by being part of the 12th Annual Village Renaissance Faire for the benefit of the public library!  This all volunteer community event attracted over 10,000 in one weekend last year, can use you help to bring history alive through interactive performances, crafts and activities.  Volunteer opportunities are available during the faire which runs 11-6 daily on September 17 & 18, 2011.    We ask volunteers to work anywhere between 2 to 8 hours a day, between the hours of 10:30 & 6:30, your choice.

WHEN:  Saturday & Sunday, September 17th & 18th, 2011

WHERE:  Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, 576 Penns Park, Wrightstown, PA 18940.  Click here for directions.  We are less than one mile off either Routes 413 or Routes 232, just north of both Richboro and Newtown.

WHY: FUN, supports the Library—also great for community service credits

If you volunteer, you will receive free entry into the faire.  All I need is your commitment to volunteer and we will provide you with free entry.  Also, since many have asked, Dress up is not required but is available for free if you wish to do so.  We only ask that you wear neutral colors.  MORE specifics on location and free entry will follow the week before the faire.

Briefly, the volunteer options are:
1.  Garb loaner—overseeing costumes and allowing attendees to dress up for free during the faire (inside by the live music stage);
2.  Kids-Kingdom- free interactive play area adjacent to the Chess Board, Middle East Dance Stage, and Food Court)
3.  Kids Crafts- free children's crafts (overseeing the dance stage, living history demonstrations, and Entrance stage);
4 .  Merlin's Inflatables -(directly across from the joust and adjacent to the Chess Board, Trebuchet & Archery Fields, and living history area).  The Joust is also with eyeshot.
5. Children's games (overseeing the dance stage, living history demonstrations, and Entrance stage).
